Not able to login to self-managed option

Hi there - unfortunately, on a corporate laptop, I'm unable to login with the self-managed option. I've created a PAT, entered it and the URL to the internal, self-managed instance. When I click the "Log in with access token" button, however, nothing happens.

It could be that it won't login because it's not digitally signed and verified - but, the application itself launches, so, I'm not sure if that's the case or not.

I have verified that I can login to GitDock with my gitlab.com credentials.

Is there anything I run that might provide a log file or more information as to why it won't login to self-managed?
