Wrong tabulation in query result display with accented characters
I use a custom query command that performs lookups in a LDAP database. I retrieve the email, the name, and phone number. I write these three fields (UTF8 encoded) with tabulations as separator, to be processed by the mutt query command.
In the presence of accented characters, the tabulation goes wrong, following the number of accented characters. Here is an example:
1 john.doe@org.fr John Doe 6348 2 jane.doe@org.fr Jane Doe 8680 3 eric.dupont@org.fr Éric Dupont 6954 4 frederic.dupont@org.fr Frédéric Dupont 8598
So: the third column begins too early by the number of accented characters in the precedent field.
For information my query format string is the following, but I don't think that the problem comes from here:
set query_format="%4c %t %-45.45a %-45.45n %e"
In attachment the script query.sh to reproduce the problem, with the query command set query_command="sh query.sh"
