Logitech C920/C922 Mic Unmute Control Problem
**Issue First Discovered:** 2022
**Description:** Users face persistent issues with the Logitech C920/C922 microphone because it gets stuck when the OS sends a mute command (inconsistent), preventing unmute functionality when controlled by any OS level mute controller including our MuteMe application. The microphone remains unresponsive to OS commands for unmute operations.
**Potential Solution:**
- Implement detection within the MuteMe app to recognize Logitech C920/C922 devices.
- Upon detection, disable OS-level mic controls for the specific C920 or C922 to avoid stuck mute.
- Offer a prompt that explains the situation.
**Additional Details:**
- Experiment with camera-specific detection mechanisms to trigger the mic control workaround.
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure the solution works seamlessly across various system configurations.
