Inline equations in captions are missing from exported manuscript

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create an empty manuscript.
  2. Add a figure or a table.
  3. In the figure or table caption add an inline equation with some content (e.g. 2+3=5).
  4. Choose "Project > Export Manuscript As… > PDF, Microsoft Word, Markdown or LaTeX".

Expected result:

The inline equation is displayed in the caption.

Actual result:

The inline equation is missing from the caption.
