Character level increased far too frequently.

The target Morrowind difficulty balance (if "balance" could be used for any aspect of our beloved game) is for the character to gain a level every 10 total skill ups in his major/minor skills. When using this mod, however, the character is leveled far more quickly.

My test character, an altmer with alchemy as major skill, begins at level 1 with 40 in that skill. At skill 60, he is level 4 (instead of 3), 80 level 7(5), and 100 level 11(7). The gap seems to widen.

Wilder still, he levels from gains in miscellaneous skills also!

The result is my game progresses far, far too quickly. Those pesky assassins, for example, are showing up with daedric weapons while I'm still looting iron daggers from family tombs. It forces tight specialization of two or three skills - often enough for melee characters but generalists are doomed to never sleep again.

Obviously the assassins are not the only level driven content. You take my meaning, I am sure.

Perhaps these could be configurable settings - not to level on miscellaneous skills and how many skillups trigger a gain?
