Wifi scanning stops working / unable to connect to ap / wifi status shows dot only and stops working - have to restart to fix
Pinephone v1.2 UBPorts CE edition running latest (up-to-date) Mobian on SD card.
I have my phone on mobile only on standby. It goes to sleep / suspends after 5 minutes. I regularly have trouble, after a certain time, when I turn wifi on e.g. to check for updates / install new software. Single AP with unique name for 2.4 GHz. Wifi discovery usually works (shows spinning circle, then APs) and then connects automatically to the saved AP / SSID.
Unfortunately, quite often, perhaps after a certain time on suspend, the SSID / AP discovery does nothing and hence can never connect. Turning wifi off and back on does not help. Only restart works.
Alternatively, AP / SSID discovery works and wifi connects (shown on status bar) but then after a few seconds the icon changes to a . (dot) only and there is no connectivity.
Sometimes, also, my AP / SSID is shown but it doesn't seem to connect. Seems as though actually touching the SSID helps, though I'm not sure.
Ideas on how to debug would be great. I'm surprised this hasn't be caught / logged before so hopefully it's not just me. Restarting the phone definitely fixes it.
