update-initramfs doesn't work, /boot too small?

As you can see it's not removing any old kernels to make space, which makes me wonder if there are any or if the new one just is so giant. I never resized /boot so it's as large (or small) as it was made by the original mobian image. In any case, I probably can't safely reboot the device right now which is a problem given the general meh stability. Any quick advice on how to at least ensure the device will boot again?
