Modem unusable for incoming calls because eg25-manager fails to restart it after suspend

The modem on Mobian is currently for me basically unusable for incoming calls, because eg25-manager fails to restart it after suspend. So it's just offline 90% of the day. Since restarting modemmanager & eg25-manager fixes it every time, this is clearly a state eg25-manager could fix but evidently doesn't. In a way this is a feature request I guess, for adding whatever workaround required to make this work, it's been broken for like half a year I think.
