Channel hashtag filters
Target problem
- Users want to be able to personalize their channel pages with collections of content they define.
- Minds wants users to more consistently tag their content.
Hypothesis
Bringing the Minds Pro Hashtag filters
feature to channel pages will give users the freedom to personalize their channel pages, increase retention, and encourage more frequent use of accurate tags on their content.
What is the primary metric that this change is aimed to improve?
- User retention
- % of content with accurate tags
What counter metric will ensure that an increase in the primary metric is a positive for the product?
- Engagement on channel pages (make sure that it doesn't drop after this change)
- Upvotes
- Comments
- Reminds
- Channel subscriptions

Proposal
-
Make the Hashtag filters
settings available to all Minds users.
-
Display the specified Hashtag filters
as tabs on the user's channel page -
Other users can toggle between tabs to see different organizations of the channel's content
-
Allow the user to define the order of tabs, including the ability to make a Hashtag filter
the default tab when visiting their channel page -
Allow the user to define a layout per Hashtag filter
, giving the option to display a tab as a feed of activity posts, or as a gallery grid view.
