You've got two options...
Run the GPM Browser on your computer. Since GPM packages install into specific projects, it will have you navigate to a project folder first thing. It will then show you that project's package dependencies and let you browse to add new ones.
Command Line Interface
Find a package you're interested in on the GPM registry website? Great! You can easily copy the gpm cli command straight from the website. Now open up your favorite command line tool, navigate to your project's directory and run the command.
I want to install the
@mgi/json package to my project located on my computer in the folder
- Open a command prompt by clicking
- Change your working directory to the project you'd like to install the package to. To do this for this example we'll execute the command
- Now we're ready to install the package. Use the command
gpm install @mgi/json. The package contents will be downloaded and installed into your projects gpm_packages folder.
