Install a package
gpm install gpm install <name> options: <none>
This command installs a package along with it's dependencies to the project.
gpm install(no args):
Installs all of the packages dependencies listed in the project's gpackage.json file. Use this command to repopulated your gpm_packages folder after manually deleting it, setting up the project on a new machine, or initializing your continuous integration build.
gpm install <name>:
Adds a new dependent package to the project. Any dependencies for the specified package will also be installed in the gpm_packages folder.
To install a specific version/version range for the package, use the syntax
gpm install <package-name>@<version-range>. If no version range is specified the carrot operator is used.
For example if
package-a has 4 version published: 1.0.0, 1.0.1, 2.0.0, 2.0.1 then:
gpm install package-awould install package-a with the range
^2.0.1since it's the latest version.
gpm install [email protected]^1.0.1would install package-a with the range
gpm install [email protected]would install package-a with the range
1.0.0, which ONLY matches the single package version.
