Copy and paste shapes does not work

Summary

Copying and pasting shapes does not work. This holds true both for shortcuts (Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V) as well as from the edit menu in the top bar. I have tried this multiple times and restarted Cavalry to see whether its a problem that occurs over time. Copy and pasting never works.

I just noticed something when I tried to use the menu. The copy and cut options are greyed out even when I have a selection active. This could explain why the shortcuts don't work either. Cavalry thinks there is nothing to copy in the first place eventhough a shape is clearly selected. I have provided a screenshot:

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a shape
2. Copy shape with either Ctrl + C or from the edit menu.
3. Paste shape with Ctrl + V or from the edit menu
4. Nothing gets pasted
