Not working with Minor QOL and/or Better Rolls 5e

I just downloaded and installed this module and no matter what number I put in the modifier box, it does not seem to apply to the rolls. I am using Minor QOL and Better Rolls together, though I tested it separately with each and I'm still not seeing the modifier get applied to any rolls. Does this only work with the vanilla rolling system?

Edit: I see that it works on standard rolls from the chat. Is that the only way it works? It doesn't seem to recognize input from the character sheet at all.
