Large Dematerializations (200+) fail to recycle all nodes

Having run a few 200+ materializations and dematerializations, the dematerializations always have 2-8 nodes which fail to recycle. Deleting the task-error removes the errors and the nodes do eventually recycle.

What is causing a small handful of nodes on large dematerializations to fail to recycle?
