docker-compose fails to source meltano project's .env
What is the current bug behavior?
What is happening now?
Create .env
files contains export
statements and docker-compose fails on it https://github.com/docker/compose/issues/6511.
See 210ecd8b (comment 160037831)
What is the expected correct behavior?
What should be happening?
docker-compose should load the .env
accordingly.
Possible fixes
If you can, link to the line of code that might be responsible for the problem or suggest a fix
Remove export
statements in the .env
generated by meltano init
.
These were there to support source .env
that we had to do before dotenv was added to the project. Now that meltano uses dotenv to load the file it doesn't need to be source-able anymore.
