Split before chapters doesn't work properly with joined files with chapters

Win 7 x64, MKVToolnix 37.0.0 x64

It does in fact join chapters when exporting a single output file. However I wanted to join files with chapters and then split them before specific chapters (actually every 4th) to play around with that "Link files" feature. It reported errors because it couldn't find chapters after the initial (32) ones, though. (Total chapters: 32+32+28+20 = 112)

I can still do that by joining first and splitting afterwards but that seems like unnecessary work to me.
