Memory leak when muxing MKV file
I am experiencing a huge memory leak when muxing a particular Matroska file, using the MKVToolNix GUI.
I want to remove some metadata from the file, change some properties (stream language, etc.).
When lauching the job, job percentage progress stays at 0% and memory goes up until system freezes.
The problematic MKV file was generated by:
- ripping a Blu Ray using Makemkv software
- re-encoding the LPCM audio track to FLAC using FFmpeg
Note I have been using MKVToolNix without issues for years with similar Blu Ray rips.
The same file plays fine using MPV player.
Here is the mkvinfo output: https://pastebin.com/raw/93B2JJwQ
I am on Arch Linux, using the up to date official package (https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/mkvtoolnix-gui/).
I tried reverting back to version 22, 21 and 19, but the leak still occurs.
