subtitle character set cannot be changed for appended subtitle tracks

When subtitles are appended the subtitles after infile1.srt (the first subtitle track) have no charset option in the GUI and I guess that is normal (because all track options are set in the first track to which all others are appended), but shouldn't they "adopt" the charset option from the first subtitle, since they are appended to the first subtitle track? Basically "--sub-charset 0:UTF-8" should also go for all other file input id's -- seems like maybe then this is is a "GUI only" issue...
