mkvmerge FAILED error: -1073741819

I use mmg to merge DivX video Streams with 2 AC3 5.1 audio channels and picture subtitles (2..4) extracted from DVD with DVD Decripter.
With one specific DVD: "Lord of the rings: the fellowship of the ring - extended version (2DVDs)" I get the avobe error from time to time.
I know that the error is related to Sutbitles becauses I've tried to merge each stream 1 by 1 and it works allways when I don't include subtitles. And sometimes I also works with 1 or 2 subtitles streams. Twice it even worked with all 4 subtitles streams, but I cannot know when it is going to work or not. I extracted the subtitles with VobSub getting a .idx and a .sub files. It contains 4 subtitles: Forced Spanish/English and Normal Spanish/English.
As I've said I get the error when trying to merge this subtitles with or with out other streams... but some times don't.
I've searched trough your bug database and found that error 21 reported on 2003-12-21 is the more similar to mine although it uses RV9.
