Sometimes received data for one connection, either Wi-Fi or SIM, are stored for both, when both are enabled on the device

Two users highlighted this issue to me. One is Ricardo from the UBports Spanish Telegram group and the other one is Daniel Frost. Both are reporting similar behavior. I'll report here the contributions of both kind gentlemen, for ease of reference.
