bezier curve generate_path_segment animation not smooth

The example animation at https://mattbas.gitlab.io/python-lottie/follow_path_8py-example.html is not running smoothly. You can see it jumping around a bit and growing/shrinking in different place. I can also reproduce this issue with my own bezier curve

Is this expected behaviour, or something we can fix?
