Not usable within rofi

I presumed this would be usable as a rofi mode, but apparently not, or I'm doing something wrong? I tried

rofi -show selector -modes "selector:~/.config/rofi/file-selector/rofi-file-selector.sh"

And what I get is a rofi window that says:

Do not launch rofi from inside rofi.

Is it possible to use the script in this way?
