Ubuntu Touch 20.04 library errors

When using MiTubo on a device running Ubuntu 20.04/Focal Videos can't be loaded.

you can search for videos through any of the provided search options, however when you tap on play, or more, you'll be greeted with the following error.

Error opening video
There was an error retrieving the video information:

   Could not find platform independent libraries <prefix>
   Could not find platform dependent libraries <exec_prefix>
   Consider setting $PYTHONHOME to
   <prefix>[:<exec_prefix>]
   Fatal Python error: Py_Initialize: Unable to get the locale encoding
