Packaging

At the moment, getting the Fortran (for example, to use in another project) requires cloning the repo. This might be the best solution, but we should at least consider others e.g.

• fpm (this video is a bit old but is interesting nonetheless)
• conda with this discussion and this page perhaps being helpful

This issue is for discussion, it can be closed once we have made a decision
