Cobblemon wont breed

I have set up multiple instances, and am unsuccessful with breeding. I have used this mod in the past with success, however, I cannot get it to work. Utilizing fabric 0.17.3. Things I have tried in no order:

-Increase tick rate for faster spawns

-Different versions of cobbreeding (including the version I used previously)

-An instance with ONLY base cobblemon installed

  -with 2 different versions of architectury and Cloth API

-Disabling mods that may cause this to fail.

-Multiple users create their own instances

I also verified that eggs can be given, the pasture was allowing breeding, and can be seen on JEI, so the modpack is being recognized by the client/server. All mods are up to date. Cobblemon is on 1.21.1, fabric version 0.17.3
