How to deal with missing Properties
Suppose you have a RecordType with Properties A and B. However, Property B sometimes does not exist (e.g. for example a label that is sometimes not used, reg exp: "(?P<a>.*)(?P<b>_.*)?"
).
Now there are three options:
- The Property B can be set for all Records and is NULL if it was not used. Identifying Records works as normal since the null value can be queried.
- The Property B is not always used. This would require some changes to the crawler: It must be possible to omit identifying Properties and a missing identifying property must be translated to a query with "WITH NOT B".
- Force the user to define different RecordTypes for those cases.
