Incorrect durations produce confusing results
When durations don't add up to the correct timing, bars are over/under filled unreliably. In the following example the first bar is rendered 1/16th too large, second bar is rendered 1/16th too small, 3rd bar is again 1/16th too large.
\relative {
\time 4/4
a'16 b16 c1
e4 a8 e2 g8
g8 e8 a2
}
It would be more obvious to the user that this is just an input mistake if the behavior was consistent. Although the correct behavior would be showing a warning/error.
