As an admin I expect default insight thresholds to suit my mail volume
Some MTAs handle 10s of emails per week, others handle millions. To generate useful insights regarding mailserver inactivity, and use appropriate timeframes for calculating eg bounce rates, lmcc needs to know how much mail is normally processed by the server. Eg: quiet server - 12hrs without mail is a problem; vs busy server: 5 minutes without mail is a problem.
The ideal approach to this would be to analyse the historical performance of the mta via mail logs, and automatically decide what profile or threshold levels and time frames should be used based on that. This would present opportunities to fine-tune lmcc in some detail, assuming that past performance reflects expected future usage.
However a quicker solution would be to simply ask the admin how much mail they expect to process during admin account registration, and set threshold levels based on that.
