Automatic Connections

I was testing using mitmproxy and proxychains4 and this appeared, but only in proxychains4:

[proxychains] Strict chain ... 127.0.0.1:3103 ... firefox.settings.services.mozilla.com:443 ... OK

Also appearing was several favicon requests:

Is this intended behavior/will it be fixed?
