@acinonyx started a discussion: (+1 comment) The default value of 75° on an orbit with an equal maximum elevation would make the elevation axis jump from 75° to 105°. It will also make a jump on the azimuth which is proportional to the altitude of the satellite. I am wondering if the flip actually moves the antenna into place faster than it would without it, for the orbits that we observe and if we can calculate the sweet spot for which the flip does make sense.
