LR2 board status - Does it work?

I'm interested in the LR2 board for wireless mesh, particularly HaLow

I saw there was an issue with the SFP port, but I don't care about that for my application.

I'd be interested in doing mesh using two of these cards at 868 https://www.soselectronic.com/en-gb/products/quectel/fgh100maam2-397929

Am I correct that the LR2 core does not include onboard 2.4/ 5.8? So the third PCIE would need to be used for that?
