How to get started

Familiarize your self with LibreHealth EHR, particularly the medical documentation forms available for a provider to record patient conditions or treatment. Try to pick something that is not already covered. Essentially, the taking of vital signs, recording medications, and a few other very basic things are covered, but even those could be re-designed. Ask the person you are interviewing about something that is slightly less common, but important to their particular job or field.

Task Instructions

Step 1: Interview a medical professional about a single concise piece of documentation they have to do in the course of treating a patient.

Step 2: Design a form layout to allow a medical professional to record this data in an efficient fashion.

Step 3: Discuss the design with the medical professional, and document the use of the form.

Step 4: Post the design prototype and usage instructions for the LibreHealth community to review

What to Submit

Submit a LibreOffice document (.odt file) to us. NO OTHER FORMATS WILL BE ACCEPTED! -- This means no word documents
