Pixelated icon in system tray on autostart
Bug report
Step 1: Are you in the right place?
-
I have verified there are no duplicate active or recent bugs, questions, or requests -
I have verified that I am using the latest version of GreenWithEnvy (GWE)
Step 2: Describe your environment
- GWE version:
0.15.5
- Installed from source/Flatpak/AUR/other (specify):
AUR
- Distribution name and version (e.g. Ubuntu 18.10):
Manjaro
- Desktop Environment (e.g. Gnome 3.30):
KDE 5.25
- NVIDIA driver version (e.g. 415.27):
515.57
- CoolBits value (4, 8, 12, ..., don't know):
don't remember, but thats definitely not the issue though
- GPU (e.g. Asus Strix OC 1080 Ti):
MSI Ventus RTX 3060 2X
Step 3: Describe the problem:
Steps to reproduce:
- Set the program to autostart in the settings
- Restart
Observed Results:
- You get a bad icon with low resoultion
Expected Results:
- You get an icon with normal resolution
Additional info
If you dont launch it automatically but launch manually, the better icon with higher quality and resolution appears. Also, had the same issue with another application, but it had a parameter which delays the autostart by ~3 seconds, enabling it fixed the problem. I'm pretty sure that's the same issue here, so maybe adding an option to delay autostart would help. Had this issue for a few months(and a few full clean system reinstalls), so just getting a clean Manjaro isn't a solution
