Is urlmon really needed?

Hello, and thank you for an excellent component! In my experience it works well on Windows. But when I tried to test it on Linux the installation/compilation stopped because of the dependency of urlmon. May be you would prefer to use some crossplatform solution (if the functionality of urlmon is used, as so far I havn't seen a need for it in the component).
