problem installing python3 in order to run ansible
I try to run the ansible step and found I have to install python3 in the image. I have therefore added in my yaml file to construct the image the step:
- apt: install
packages:
- ssh
- parted
- dosfstools
- iw
- wpasupplicant
- raspi-firmware
- linux-image-arm64
- firmware-brcm80211
# additions af
- python3
tag: /
unless: rootfs_unpacked
The run stops and the likely relevant error information is
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of python3:
python3 depends on python3.9 (>= 3.9.2-0~); however:
Package python3.9 is not configured yet.
dpkg: error processing package python3 (--configure):
dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
I can install python3 without problems with an image I have created with the same instruction (minus the python3 line). I am not understanding if running apt in vmdb2 is different from invoking it from a terminal.
When I install python2 - which works - I cannot find how to get ansible then to use the correct interrpreter (test t48 and then test t48b). The code is on github
