No option to create a shortcut

App description:

Keyboard Switcher is a keyboard selection application, it allows to switch easily from the current keyboard to another in several ways, thanks to a discreet floating button available on the screen, a shortcut, or a notification.

What I was expecting was the ability to create a shortcut (appears on the homescreen like an app) that would launch the switcher. I could then add this app to the sidebar widget that my phone has (it is a floating sidebar that pops out when you swipe in) and switch keyboards quickly with having to rely on a permanent notification shade entry or additional floating widget.

Does shortcut mean something else in this instance, or is this possible somehow?
