Media Uploading UX Improvements

Users frequently report the media uploading experience to be finicky and inconsistent. It leaves users in the dark aside from the occasional toast, and appends an img or video tag to the post body regardless of the user's actions as soon as it finishes.

Perhaps a upload modal should be considered, which will clue the user in to what's currently being done, actions they can take, and avoids the issue of user confusion.
