KiCad 8.0rc2 not update to Nigthly automatically in dev PPA

Description

I have the sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kicad/kicad-dev-nightly PPA added at Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and I was with the 8.0rc2 installed from this PPA (after update from 7.99). But it didn't update to 8.99 automatically in Feb/March of 2024. I checked the behavior in two different machines (same OS).

It is the second that this has happened, the first one was from 7.0rc* update to 7.99 nightlies. To workaround this I sudo apt purge *kicad* && sudo apt install kicad-nightly in both times.

See that in neither machines nor events (8.0rc to 8.99 or 7.0rc to 7.99) I have changed the PPA (removed or readded). As Seth_h shows me in https://forum.kicad.info/t/is-the-nigthly-ubuntus-ppa-stoped/50565 the dpkg --compare-versions appears fine, maybe some packing minor issue?
