Description
Steps to reproduce
- The 74xxx1Gxx symbols are single-gate versions of the 7400 series gates. Instead of having 6 inverters or 4 NAND gates, NOR gates, each chip has a single gate. Most gates have two inputs, one output, and VCC & GND. However, the 74LVC1G17 buffer only has one input. So the symbol designer only specified pins 2, 3, 4, & 5 on the symbol. The problem is that the footprint has five pins on a SOT 23-5, with pin 1 NC. So the symbol needs a pin 1 to specify as NC. I look at the GitLab file, and the symbol is still missing pin 1. I assume the problem also applies to the inverter as well as any potential duplicate buffers and inverters.
- You can see how I updated my instance, to include a pin 1, which I indicate should be NC: https://ibb.co/1TWNhKN
