Wires in Eeschema recent nightly build do not rubberband when dragging
I am complaining about difficulty to get desired results when dragging in Eeschema.
I generally select a group of symbols from right to left so that partial inclusion selects the symbol.
The issue mostly involves the wires. Most of the time, if a wire is included in the selection window it does not "rubber band" as desired. Rather it behaves as a feature of fixed length (a rod rather than a rubber band) which pushes or pulls wire junctions and wires which are outside the selection window. This is counter-intuitive. I am not sure but I think this behavior is also not completely consistent. I am trying to edit my schematic and have made many attempts to move a portion of my schematic from left to right. When I attempt this I invariably get some portion of the schematic screwed up (with risk of unintended connections) as I drag a portion.
The other issue is that if I select an area of the schematic and then drag, I find no way to go back to the earlier location in order to (add or subtract to my selection) and try dragging again. Of course I can escape out of my action and start over, but this seems particularly inefficient and frustrating.
Earlier tonight I was using a nightly build from a few days ago. In the process of fighting with this, I downloaded and installed the latest nightly to see whether the issue was resolved. I did not find any difference. See .gif file at the end of this post.
