Text variables no longer resolve in text or text box elements(?)

Description

It seems that something changed in one of the latest new rc1 builds so that only the built-in variables resolve, not the schematic user text variables. Some days ago with different rc1 build it worked normal (and nice 👍 ). Only checked that - not in PCB editor...

The same with simple text elements. As a consequence the ERC gives an error.

Steps to reproduce

I even checked this in a new created prj.
