(Footprint editor) Solder paste layer not shown in 3d preview

Description

I occasionally use the 3D preview of footprints (in the footprint properties tab for associating 3d models) to verify that everything is in place. However, that can cause problems when a datasheet specifies a solder paste layout different from just an expansion factor on the pads. When the footprint is on a PCB and opened with the 3D viewer, everything looks fine and the solder paste is rendered perfectly, but in the preview inside the footprint editor, the solder paste is, for whatever reason, not rendered.
