# Description Project manager and Layout Editor crashes when reopening a V6 pcb file stored in V7. With complete (confidential) design, the problem also occurs when opening pcb file directly or performing "Switch to PCB Editor" in schematic. I attach a reduced design, here problem occurs only when opening layout from project manager. Kicad V7.0.2 under Ubuntu 20.04.4 opens complete and stripped down design without problems.
