No match between Value in Eeschema and value in Symbol Fields in Kicad 5.1.11 in French
Description
After update to Kicad 5.1.11 last week (no idea why it is already in http://ppa.launchpad.net/kicad/kicad-5.1-releases/ubuntu), the Symbol Fields
window lost all the values and footprints of my components. It seems to be linked to an inability to match the values in the properties of the component (named Valeur in French) with the value in the Symbol Fields
(named Value) in the French version.
Steps to reproduce
- Open Kicad 5.1.11, switch to French
- Create a project
- Open the Eeschema of this project
- Add 1 resistor and give it a value (field
Valeur
) - Open the
Symbol Fields
window - Notice that the field
Value
is empty - Put a value in this field
- Open the properties of the resistor
- Notice that a new field named
Value
exists with the value put in theSymbol Fields
window
