Defining KICAD_FOOTPRINT_DIR as a system variable means it can't be edited in KiCad's Configure Paths dialog.
Description
When try change folder path in "Configure Path" gives the warning message show in the image.
When restart kicad the path is the default in /usr/.....
My OS is Linux Mint 21
Steps to reproduce
- Go to "Configure Path"
- Change path folder example footprint
- Restart Kicad
- path is again the default
