Wish: PDF of schematic should show symbol properties when clicked
Description
Embedding symbol properties into the PDF would be a nice feature. E.g. when clicking a symbol of an IC a (read-only) context menu opens that shows all fields that are defined in the symbols properties. For example the footprint, name of the library from which the symbol originates, manufacturer part number, the companies part number and so on.
I have seen this feature in OrCAD PDFs (as far as I remember it is not directly a OrCAD feature but was implemented via a plugin). I think that this is implemented with embedded JavaScript in the PDF.
One drawback of this is, that Adobe Reader is the only viewer that I know of, that can show this information.
