Eeschema : Power of the same name is not connected

see below, the two 24V power are not connected either by pressing F8 to view in PCBnew or pressing "generate netlist" button and check the netlist file

Sorry i think this is user error. Only invisible power input pins are global labels. No other pin type and visiblity combination does this. See:

Okay, still not really understand why only "invisible power input" pins are global, though I will avoid to use "power output" pin when creating power symbols, thanks.

I spent about a day analyzing it to this point, after Nate, a beginner with KiCad made his own "Power Port" symbol and changed the pin type from input to output. The whole thread (quite long and boring) is here: https://forum.kicad.info/t/power-rail-is-not-connected-in-netlist-output/21954/15

I Agree with Rene, that this essentially boils down to simple user error and is not a real bug in KiCad, which is why I did not create this bug report myself. Having a schematic that is visually correct but broken of the pin type of an invisible pin is at least dubious.

It was very confusing to Nate & me and I think there is room for improvement. For example, would it be safe to change the pin of a "Power Port" symbol always to a power input type, or at least issue a warning? What about not adding symbols to the "Power Port" lib when not all conditions for a Power Port symbol are met?

I can also understand to simply ignore this issue, especially if these "Power Port" symbols will get a significant upgrade in KiCad V6.
