Errors in design variations in import from Altium

Description

I've imported a design from Altium. The design has one variation that excludes some components (e.g. removes 0 Ohm resistors, used for debug variation).
After the import, the design variation has wrong component exclusions in the variation (seemingly random? I couldn't notice similarity in components names or similar).
I attach 2 screenshots, with Altium and KiCad side by side (scrambled pixels for confidentiality, this is a professional project).

Steps to reproduce

I observed this in 2 projects thus far.

  1. Download Altium design that has variations with exclusions
  2. Import in KiCad
  3. Check exclusions
