Symbol Editor: "Cycle Arc Editing Mode" causes segmentation fault
Description
In the Symbol Editor, drawing an arc and then selecting "Cycle Arc Editing Mode" from the right-click context menu consistently causes a segmentation fault.
Expected result The arc editing mode cycles (e.g. from arc-by-endpoints to arc-by-center or similar) without crashing.
Actual result KiCad crashes with a segmentation fault (SIGSEGV) after a few seconds.
Frequency Reproduced 4 times out of 4 attempts, with different libraries and different symbols. The arc size and position do not matter.
Steps to reproduce
- Open KiCad Symbol Editor
- Create a new library (File → New Library)
- Create a new symbol in that library
- Select the Arc tool from the toolbar
- Click to place the first endpoint of the arc
- Click to place the second endpoint of the arc
- Right-click on the arc → select "Cycle Arc Editing Mode"
Additional notes
KiCad installed from PPA ppa:kicad/kicad-10.0-releases. Debug symbols (kicad-dbgsym) not available for this PPA, so a full backtrace could not be obtained.
