Nightly AppImage: Kicad completely unresponsive on Wayland
Description
I was recommended to try the nightly AppImage to see improvements in cursor warp handling on Wayland under wx3.3. Super exciting stuff! Unfortunately, on at least two of my computers, the nightly AppImage is not usable currently.
It's hard to describe exactly what the problem is. The schematic editor is almost completely unresponsive on my machines. Most clicks are apparently either not registered, or their results are not rendered. Something is clearly happening, because sometimes if you try to move a symbol and then do some other stuff, the symbol is later rerendered in a different location. But for the most part it is not possible to accomplish anything.
I've tried to capture a video of this behavior, but understandably I hope it is difficult to show "it doesn't do anything" in a screencast.
One example of how many problems Kicad is having here is that the crosshair isn't even following the mouse. I am not sure if this might not be related to #23080 (closed), but in case it isn't I'm raising it as a separate issue.
Steps to reproduce
- Open nightly Kicad image on Wayland.
- Open schematic editor.
- Attempt to move a symbol or do anything else.
